Wish you a very happy and prosperous new year. This notification is regarding the issues elated to invitation or intimation to the alumnus in / about any Departmental event like Reunion, farewell. seminar etc. As an Alumnus, I think it is our right to become intimated about such event. As the general Secretary of the
Alumni Association of the Department, I am also trying my best to inform our alumnus about such events.Yet I know there are so-many alumni to whom we could not not inform/invite. It is mainly due to there contact details (phone number, E mail etc.) is not recorded with us. Some time it is found that they have changed their phone number / e mail, which was recorded with us. So we couldn't contact with them. Generally we attempt to make phone call to each and every alumnus to invite in the reunion. But making phone call to every alumnus is a very very time consuming process and we have not enough man power to make phone call to all in every event; so email is the best option.
So it is my request , if you do not receive email from us, in spite of having a valid e mail, then please send an email to the association ( alumnibotku@gmail.com ) informing your year of B.Sc./M.Sc. batch, specialization subject, Ph.D. degree, Retirement/ transferred from the Department; Phone Number etc. (whichever is relevant). I, General Secretary of the Alumni Association, assure you, you will be informed in such events.
